Antivir Software Scam

by mindwave 123 / September 13, 2007 4:56 PM PDT

Its supposed to be FREE but, after download, the suggested updates never seem to download so I went back to the website and foud a suggestion for a download accellerator that merely cost US$1 +. The receipt sent soon after this showed US$17.88!! So, I emailed and asked for a full refund. After emailing a few times, I had a reply from 'marketbill' suggesting I would be given free software to appease me. I refused seeing I smelt a scam. After another two emails I was given a refund less an administration fee of $7.93!!!!!!! On looking at the Net for 'marketbill' I found many others who had been similarly scammed. Caveat emptor.

If it was free, how and why did you part with money?

Something's not right here.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
