Question

Anti-Virus Software - Free ?

I recently bought a used laptop and went online to install a anti-virus program, I thought I remembered years ago that AVG had a free trial type install that did'nt have a 30 day limit ? (I can't rememer exactly) anyway my question is - is there any free anti-virus software that someone could recommend ? one that isnt a 30 day trial. I hope I'm posting this in the right section. And thanking in advance for any help with this.....Linda

AVG, avast and antivir all have

free versions. I use avast myself but some people prefer the others.

When folk get the 30 day version.

It usually means they didn't find the free one and clicked on the demo/trial version.

Go back to avg and carefully get the right version.
