But most of the time I find the unit to have aged, dropped a few too many times and a new PDA fixes it right up.
I access the Internet often with my Pocket PC via WI-FI. My device, running Windows PC 2003 is now behaving irratically, e.g. programs functions sometimes work, sometimes not. A soft reset usually corrects the misfunction. That is not the problem. What I am looking for is an anti-virus/anti parasites "suite"- to scan for and remove infections, and to prevent them coming in. There probably are lots of such free programs out there. Have anyone used such programs and can introduce/recommend one or two ? Thanks.
Since you have a PocketPC, your best free option is Airscanner Mobile. They have firewall, antivirus, and encryption applications to help your protect yourself from the few viri that target the PPC. (There aren't many, but they do exist.) I've compared it to the paid-versions from McAfee, Symantec, and the others but saw no reason to pay for what I can have for free.
Hope this helps,
P.S. Since the risk infection on a PDA is pretty low, have you check other possible causes, such as low memory? Remember, clicking the X does not exit most programs, it simply minimizes them so they're still running in the background.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
