Question

Antenna TV

Aug 31, 2016 5:10AM PDT

I just cut the satellite cord and installed an antenna on the roof. I have a 50" Panasonic Plasma TV down stairs about 10 yrs. old that I paid approx. $ 2500 for. I have a smaller Seiki TV in the bedroom about 4 yrs.old that I paid a couple hundred dollars for. My problem is I can get all 4 networks on the Seiki but can get only NBC and CBS on the Panasonic. I am told this is because the Panasonic has an older tuner. Is there any way to improve my tuner on the Panasonic to receive all 4 networks without buying a new TV?

Was seen in the 1950's and on. Antenna and tuner performance varies with set, antenna and location.

To improve my reception I used a much better antenna. Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024R4B5C/

Sadly there are consumers that fault the TV.

What is it? Maybe one with higher gain.
