I feel the Axim X51v is still the better choice with more impressive specs (Windows Mobile 5.0, twice the ROM, and a multimedia accelerator) and a lower price tag. With the Axim being on sale for just $399, compared to the hx4700's $599 price tag, it's really no contest.
With the extra money you could get all of the following:
* An extended battery (which doubles the battery life) for $99.
* A car charger for $20.
* A wireless keyboard for $40.
* A 256MB SD (extra storage capacity) for $33.
* A medium pizze for $8. ![]()
Hope this helps,
John
i've gathered from other posts that Dell wins in this question. i'm still confused though since the cnet editors rate the hp at 7.9 and the dell at 7.4 due to poor battery performance. is the feeling in this forum still for the dell?
