Another plea for Camera selection help

May 16, 2007 5:49AM PDT

I have a few basic needs for a nice digital camera.
i would like to stay under 300 if possible.
I would like a camera that has a fast shutter lag
I would like to have clear pictures and for them to be print worthy.
I would like for it to have a nice burst mode.
If possible I would love the color pink but that is the LAST thing on the list.
I have a 2 year old daughter who I am trying to get the pictures of and she is always on the move(hence the need for a fast shutter lag)
I do digital scrapbooking(hence the need for quality for printing)..

I have a VERY old Sony and I NEED help ASAP..it is going up..
TIA

Sony W80

There is a recent review of the Sony W90 which you can read:

http://www.steves-digicams.com/2007_reviews/w90.html

The W80 and W90 are exactly alike, but the w90 has one more megapixel (Cool.

The Canon A570IS and Sony W80 both cover the features you want.
The W80 will likely cost you about $30 more.

Both have fast burst or continuous speeds.
But both require a fast memory card for fast bust/continuous speed.
For the A570IS, get a SanDisk Ultra II or SanDisk Extreme card
For the W80, get the Sony or SanDisk Pro Duo card.
