Perhaps you can clarify....

....what constitutes ignorance in your opinion. The fact that she isn't running for office doesn't mean anything that I can see.

any acting for a long long time now. My age might give away some ignorance here, but I don't know that they toughted their political viewpoint while entertaining the public. I just pay entertainers to entertain not make policy and once they start making policy paid for or not they lose their entertainment value for the future. IMO

John Wayne, Arnold, Bruce Willis, Ted Nugent...

....and others were all outspoken about their views while they were working as actors, musicians, etc. John Wayne intended "The Green Berets" to be a pro-Vietnam political statement.

Hey now, he truly believed he was a WWII bomber pilot

with a great script the line gets blurred between reality and cinema. This was overheard by the WH astrologer/necromancer. Cross my heart.

Not exactly
May 16, 2006 5:24AM PDT

He did tell war stories that turned out to be scenes from war movies he'd made.

If he was trying to pass those stories off as legit, then that made him a liar, not delusional.

I think he said..

that he had been in Germany with the Army Signal Corps filming concentration camps when he really only narrated the films. Big deal. Could be an honest mistake or even a misunderstanding on the part of whoever reported it.

Not like he was claiming he charged a tank or flew a bomber.

I thought they were actual combat stories....

....but it's not a big enough deal to me to check it out.

Although I never was able to vote for him(wasn't 18 at the time). He had, does and always will have my admiration and support for his policies.

Note to Dave: No double standard as he entered politics and quit acting never returning to the stage or screen.

He was also very active ....

in the Screen Actors Guild and served as its President, and wrote many essays on all kinds of political and societal issues. Those who tried to portray him as a dummy were just wrong. If anythig he was overqualified to be Presidentg.

That THUD you just heard was Dave fainting.
