Anonymising video

Jun 20, 2010 6:14PM PDT

Hi guys, I recently did some ultrasound scans at work, and was wanting to anonymise the name of the people I scanned which gets printed in the top left corner by default. How can I do this? Each video clip is only 2 seconds long, and the name of the person scanned is visible on the top left corner. All I want to do is put a black box or something of the sort over the name so that it is not visible. I guess its something like putting a dark band across the eyes of people in a video when they want complete anonymity.

Please help

Sorry but we can't interfere with work practices. I suspect this will have to be discussed with the; Hospital Administrators > Medical staff > IT Technical Services.

For example you have many choices of softwares to do this. Here's a starter list:

Apple's Final Cut Pro.
Sony's Vegas.
Ulead.com (many products so ask them which has this feature.)
