Annoying Printer Config at startup

Is there a way to stop printer configuration things at startup and everytime I put a cd in the drive? It gets really annoying that the printer configures before anything else happens.

So you mean the printer installs/sets up, at every startup? If thats what`s happening then your printer can`t be installed properly i guess. if this is the case, then yes try uninstall/reinstall, check all connections just to be safe and maybe shut down any anti-virus you have running BEFORE you reinstall.....oh and does your printer work properly at the moment?
