Don't know if its javascript or something else but my pages are slow to load and jump around then goes to a blank white page and then finally settles down... seems the page loads twice. Also the forum toolbars in the left column (drop down menu) close after the final page load making additional clicking necessary to move to another forum... that too did not happen when software was initially introduced.
These are just some of the deficiencies I am seeing. NONE OF THIS WAS TRUE WHEN THE SOFTWARE WAS FIRST INSTALLED... the first day was perfect until the "tinkering" started.
I have no problem with the appearance and can adjust but poor functionality is a huge problem and disappointment. Just my thoughts and experience.
Win XP SP-2

Is there any way to disable the javascript code which seems to reload the page for you and 'slide' part of the left column into place? It's annoying as hell when you surf around in the CNET forums.
I'm using Firefox2, XP home SP2.
Try disabling your javascript for a bit and surf through the forums again and you'll notice the difference. It does the same in Mozilla 1.7.13.
Most annoying.
