Question

Annoying bluish tint

Hp dv4 pavilion, Win7

My screen has this irritating bluish tint that I cannot get rid of. It isn't overwhelmingly blue, but enough to make everything look a bit off. Skin tones, sky, everything.
Tried calibrating with the built-in color calibration and downloading an app called "Calibrate" to no avail.
Starting to think it's a physical issue. Maybe the LCD cable in the screen?

Clarification Request
Is this a new issue?

Here my fairly new laptop came with an eye saver app. It cuts the blue on the display at the expense of correct colors.

Some use https://justgetflux.com/ to adjust the display over time.
