Annoyed As Can Be

I had the same thing happen while trying to post in the Computer Help forum, having a new discussion box disappear while looking up other system information on my computer, and then having to open a new box to start the thread all over again. The box disappeared without my hitting Submit or Close.

Happens to me as well on occasion.

And yes, it leaves me fuming.

I'm learning, but not there completely yet, that if I am going to use the same browser, different tabs, to search for details or information, or search elsewhere on my computer, to copy what I have typed and place it in Notepad temporarily. I still fail to remember to do that though.

Thankfully this doesn't happen to me often.

Where The Problem Is

MarkFlax: If only the opening thread box in the browser would stay open while going into Windows itself, as I had to go to My Computer, Properties, then we could all cut down on these steps.

I'm reporting this as a bug

It doesn't happen to me often now, but nevertheless I am reporting it as a bug again, in case it has resurfaced.

Thanks for the report and hopefully something can be found and sorted out.

Annoyed As Can Be

MarkFlax, I am glad someone is looking into this. It makes me appreciate what a job management has being concerned with how things look on everybody's computer. I have enough of a hard time with the two that I own.

Clarification needed

Just to be on the same page as you, you are referring to the "Create a new discussion:" submission form disappearing if you accidentally click outside of the submission form box, right?

I just want to make sure this what you mean and not some other bug.

Please let me know.

Thank you!

Annoyed As Can Be

Lee, yes you are right. It is the box for creating a new thread that disappeared. I will have to test it on my computer when I have to start a new one.
