Animation help please...

Sep 12, 2005 10:45PM PDT

I received a animated graphic thru a email from a friend. When I save it to my pictures or any other area it does not come back animated. Can someoen please tell me how I can save this and have it come out animated? I don't know if this matters but I have a Dell Dimension 8400, Windows XP home edition. Processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz
Processor Speed 3.12 GHz
Memory (RAM) 1024 MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Operating System Version 5.1.2600

Thank you for your help!

Most common? A GIF.

View it with Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Firefox.

Thanks for your help but...

How do I do that? I have it in a email in AOL. What I want to do if possible is keep it as a animation so I can use it in emails I send out to my friends. Like a possible email signature. Is this possible? Sorry, but I am very new at this. Thank you for your help.

Ask AOL.

Sorry, but no one I know has AOL. I hear their support lines answer questions about AOL software.

In closing, try to supply all the needed details in your posts. The requirement to use AOL software changes everything.

what is the name of the file

Can you tell us the complete filename, including the extension (such as firstpart.GIF, or firstpart.JPG, or firstpart.WMF)

I don't really care what the 'firstpart' is,
I do care what the 3 character extension is.
