What's your point! T-Mobile overall hasn't proven to be a reliable company as far as providing the best reception possible. In fact, the worst since they keep much of their coverage to the major cities and could careless about rural areas except for the major highways for their city customers. NW Indiana is mostly flatland and their coverage is spotty. Cingular and AT&T provide slightly better coverage. Verizon and Sprint provide the best coverage for my area. And NO I don't work for the wireless industry. My best experience has been with Verizon Wireless and intend to stay with them as long as possible. At least CDMA's been around long enough to be well built. T-Mobile never really tried to build up GSM and Cingular and AT&T waited too long to get on the GSM bandwagon. They're playing catchup and I believe it'll be several years before GSM is on the same level of coverage as CDMA. At least Cingular is trying to cover some rural areas with GSM as T-Mobile doesn't want to serve those areas, or their coverage maps wouldn't keep most of the coverage to the major cities and major highways, as their maps indicate.
Of course you realize that - unless I specifically disclaim any association with a specific supplier -
I am a current paid-up subscriber to, at least, one or more of their services.
Now then, with regard to 'T-MOBILE' ......
The Company is German (of course) - (give me a little room to prag, since I was born and brought-up overthere) and I am therefore highly critical of the ways they conduct their business.
T-MOBILE is unique, especially if you are a world traveler - it stayed with me throughout Europe.
Accordingly, if you have a 'world phone' (at least with T-Mobile) you just 'move on' - but in the 'States' like here in NATCHEZ, Ms - you need a back-up.
Given that you have 'T-MOBILE' service - and you are
within their Network, you must agree that reception etc is quite acceptable. Of course, if you should happen to travel overseas, you will be totally delighted with their service and simplified fees- 99cents a minute.
Belive it or not - last year, on a moving train between
Vienna and Prague. my friends were able to call the USA and report their stolen Credit-Cards (at 99c/minute on my T-MOBILE phone.).
