Question

Android Root

Mar 11, 2016 4:07PM PST

I followed the instructions to root my HTC Desire 510 with the Kingo Android Root. Nothing happened. It just stopped. Should there be an announcement that the root is complete. This specific phone was not on the list of approved devices but there were other HTC Desires on it and Kingo says the list is incomplete. I allowed debugging over wifi but the box on the pc kept saying to allow debugging. Should I delete everything and try again? Thanks.

NEVER use rooting instructions when your phone is not on the list. Even if the list is incomplete, you should not use it because your phone may never be on the list. The wrong instructions could brick your phone.
