Android or iOS?

Apr 16, 2020 11:10AM PDT

Hey Guys, Answers are appreciated. So, I'm decided to buy a new Phone. I looking for a phone with these specifications
1. Better Display
2. Good UI
3. At Least 4 Years of Updates
4. Perfomance (not Considered so much Because, Snapdragon 855 and Apple A13 bionic are the two best in class)

So, I'm looking to buy a OnePlus 8 Pro or a Apple iPhone XS Max ( Budget ), Which is the good phones for the above mentioned things). also, I Don't know much about OnePlus Update policy, please tell me about it (apple is 5 years). some People Say that iOS is better than Android, Some Say UI is the importan thing..... please guys, explain about the phones. thank you......

1. Not OS related.

Personal choice there. Look at them and decide.
2. Again, a personal choice. For me I can use either.
3. iOS would win if the criteria was to get updates. My choice would be security updates only. iOS might win but I use Android and the updates are more of a nuisance on both iOS and Android. Yes, I own both an iPhone and an Android.
4. I just upgraded but my old phones have great performance but I snagged a deal on the Moto G7+. It's great but so was my old LG G4 and Moto G 5th gen.

Are concerned with OS updates ??

My mom is using her original iPhone SE with the latest iOS update and my Samsung Galaxy started with Android Oreo, and later updated to Pie and currently running Android 10 (no other nickname for the latest version). I expect that I won't receive the next OS version.

It all comes down to what version of the OS that you prefer. If you buy a newer model phone, you can realistically expect 3-4 major OS updates and numerous security updates/patches over its lifetime.

According to me you should go for iOS because they have a better update policy than android

Apple and Google both have fantastic app stores. But Android is far superior at organizing apps, letting you put important stuff on the home screens and hide less useful apps in the app drawer. Also, Android's widgets are much more useful than Apple's.

I personally use the iPhone 10 and overall I'm a fan of the apple. But I also like android, namely because of Google Play. I like to play various games on Android (for example Minecraft) Grin
