Android Open Source store. F-Droid.

We know that AD SUPPORTED APPS cause odd issues like battery drain issues and can run up bills as the Ads are downloaded. Noted at http://www.androidauthority.com/ad-suported-android-apps-battery-drain-65716/

While I like to keep my Android clean as can be, recent events has me reminding you to think again about FOSS. Without open source no one can be sure what is in those apps.
