It depends...

There are many factors that make up selecting which one has better apps. But here's it in a nutshell:

iOS
+Oldest and largest app store
+Often considered by many to have "better looking/cleaner"
+Has better selection of paid games

-Tied to iTunes (limits content selection that's available)
- Has less productivity apps
-Apps functionality/capabilities are limited to what Apple allows

Android:
+Often more free (ad based apps)
+Selection of App sources (Google Play, Amazon, Side loading, etc..)
+Apps can be more capable due to further access to the Androis OS
+Small refund window (for Google Play)

-Apps may not be uniform due to multiple size and other differences between the amounts of android devices in existence
-Apps come shortly after iOS gets them due to extra compatibility checks

You don't know what's best for you until you tried both.

Both of them are good. It depends upon the device that you are owing. Apple is the number one company in the world and it uses iOS, whereas android is an emerging operating system from Google. So it's quite difficult to say that which is better it depends upon your use and followship.

Wat to choose between IOS and Android

If one is looking out for ease and simplicity then iOS is good and if looking forward to customisation then go for Android.

Hope this helps!

Answer
Both are best because time has changed.

As I think, both are best because time has changed. Today, Android has grabbed major market share and that's why application developers have equal concentration on both platforms.

Both are great but iOS apps are mostly well-optimized

I think apps on both platforms are equally great. However, given that most of iOS apps are already well-optimized for iOS devices, and especially developers still lean toward iOS, then iOS apps probably are a bit better than Android apps.

Answer
Depends
Apr 3, 2014 10:39PM PDT

Actually depends on a lot of factors:

1. The device you own: There are wide range of android phones, if you compare low end phone with iPhones then obviously ios will have better UI. On the other hand, top end android phones are much better in terms of UI and functionality when compared to ios.
2. If you like to customize your phone, then android apps are far-far better, offcource as ios has no customization.
3. Yes ios has lesser number of ads as it has more paid apps in it. Again if you aren't irritated by small ads and like stuff for free, then android is your choice.

Hope this helped, take care! Peace! Cool

In most cases, iOS app's logo design and interface design are much better.

Logo design ???
Apr 29, 2014 3:24AM PDT

Really ?? That is how you rate an operating system ?? That makes absolutely no sense.

So an OS is only as good as it's logo design?

Here I thought it was not the OS but the apps that mattered.
