There's a reason you did this. Most of the time it's to eek out speed or blow out apps that were annoying you. So my answer is as few as possible.

Here is the List

So you've rooted your device and wanna install root apps on it. Well, that's indeed a good decision. I can suggest you a few top rated applications that requires root access. Also take your device specs into consideration as installation of multiple apps may encounter some issues. If you have a device with lower RAM, then install only very essential apps.

So here comes the list of 10 Best Apps for Rooted Android Devices.
1.Greenify - Power Saving App.
2.Titanium Backup - Backup app.
3.OTARootKeeper - Get back the root access even after flashing OTA update.
4.Link2sd - Move the installed apps to the SD card and free up the internal memory.
5.Orange Backup - Create a full Nandroid backup right from the app itself.
6.ROM Toolbox - All-in-one app that can do a lot of things.
7.SCR Screen Recorder - Lets you to capture Screenshots in a much higher quality.
8.Chainfire3D - Run newer games even on older devices.
9.DiskDigger - Recover deleted and corrupted files easily.
10.Fullscreen - Hide the full system bar while keeping only 2 buttons which can be configured anyway.

From the above list of root apps, install your favorites to make most out of the root access on your phone..
