I think the same answers apply. I find AMD to be rougher on new builders. That is, if you are not ready to dive into BIOS, settings and know your Amperes and PSU rails, the Intel setups are generally easier on folk.

For me I get the Intel since the Android Intel Emulator is much faster. For me that's why.

Even if its my first computer rig all this week I've been doing research about everything that you can know for pc so bios is easy and I'm can take a MSI motherboard and they are really easy to overcloack

The thng about overclocking

In reply to: Well..

Is that I find many of today's users to expect support for that. It's a tough touchy subject and how do you tell them they are on their own or that it may not work at the overclocked settings later?

Answer
budget

In reply to: And or Intel

The amd cpu is 215 bucks.
Shop for an intel cpu with the same budget.
Now compare the perf of the two units.
Single thread/multi thread/gaming/other.
Intel seems to be a bit more expensive but they have better single thread perf.
I suppose that's why gamers like intel.
If the games you play can take advantage of those amd 8 cores that thing should be fine.

8 cores

In reply to: budget

Well pretty much the only game that don't use all the cores is crysis its limited to 2 cores max
