An update on the maltese dog breeder abuse case.

Feb 24, 2004 7:42AM PST

There was a RV story this morning, but it reqyures a download.

Another breeder has made charges that the photos of the dogs on the HollyBelle site were lifted from her site. Also, celbrities are coming forward to say they either did not buy their dogs from HollyBelle. There are compalints from buyers who did re: their dogs died, or required extensive veterinary care.

Apparently this is why the breeder has not yet been formerly chatged, as they seem to be piling up.

Based on the condition of the pets, the shelter's veterinarian said she thinks the female dogs were treated with hormonelike pills and the male dogs were given Viagra to maximize reproduction.

This certainly sounds like someone went way way past any line.

How come people can be so creative and innovative in abusing something?

If thise suspicions and accusations are proven, I wonder if there are even laws on the books to be applied for some of this horrible behavior.

Hopefully the dogs, the ones not put down, are better off now. (nt)
