An error occurred while renewing interface Ethernet 2

My internet ethernet connection stopped working this morning and i've been trying to establish it since without any luck. I've tried multiple online, but none of them seem to help. I read somewhere that I could try to renew my ipconfig by doing: ipconfig/renew.

It gives me an error, could anyone help me resolve this problem?

The result I get is as follows:

There's a clue in the error.

If the media is disconnected you can't renew. This can be caused by many things from a broken wire in the cable to unplugged at either end to a failed network card.

There is no single solution but you work it like any other failure.

The issue is fixed, my whole router had to be renewed and it was giving errors. Thanks for the help anyways
