AMV conversion tools

by quique117 / May 27, 2008 8:25 AM PDT

I have had some problems with my mp3 player ( http://www.machspeed.com/oasis.html )video playback function. The mp3 player requires that I convert my videos into .amv format. I have gone on the website and downloaded and installed the latest version of the converter.(Click on "Driver" on the bottom of the page)I can transfer the files and play the files fine on my mp3 player after I convert them. The problem I am having is that with some videos, it will only convert them half-way. Now I can play them, but it will only play half of the video. I have tried everything that I can and have not found any solution. If you would please help me find a solution I and many others could benefit from this. Thank You.

Lets keep it simple.
An easy solution is at hand.
Go to....

http://www.conceppt.com

Look at the menu column on the right and click "Downloads 2"
Once there scroll down the page and click "Convertion Service"
A new page will open. Click the "Choose file" button and upload your file.
A bit further down you'll find an "output format" menu/button: choose format and then click the "OK" button.
Wait for a minute whilst it converts and then download the converted file.

I suggest that before uploading you use QuickTime and "export" your video to a .mov file, with the following settings..
Video...Compression: H.264, Quality: Medium, Frame rate: 15, Encoding mode: multipass, Dimension: 160x120, Sale: Fit within (160x120).
Sound... Format: Integer (Big Endian), Sample rate: 44,100 khz, Sample size: 16-bit, Channels: Mono.

Easy, free, no hassles, no spy/ad ware.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
