Even with all the violence in some places, the struggle
to get Iraq up and running continues. In reading articles
coming out of the CPA Baghdad (will summarize here rather
than post the articles) they reported that a US Army Civil
Affairs unit organized a conference with farmers and Iraqi
politicos from several areas, and breaking up into working
groups, they put together lists of things that needed
immediate attention to get the farms up and producing;
modern techniques were reviewed; this years harvest, and
the movement of produce to market, and plans for next
years planting were formulated. So it appears they are
looking beyond just today.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
