Hope this helps.
im a soldier in iraq and dont have the time or means to sit down and manualy go through each folder scattered between my 3 hard drives. what i do is when i go out on missions i take one of my external drives and trade files for music and whatever. im trying to consolidate them and get rid of all but one of each duplicate song or files for my own enjoyment. im not that great with computers. i know enough to really mess them up. im running windows xp home on a toshiba laptop with a 1.5 gig processor. i have a 300 gig external a 80 gig external and 80 gig internal hard drives. i need some help getting rid of all of these duplicates and organizing them. ive been deleting them manually or so i thought with my iTunes for months doing it for an hour here and there. it turns out that i was only removing them from iTunes and not the drives themself. is there a simple to use program or way to delete the duplicate file and still leave one song of the duplicate so i can still listen to it???? i currently have roughly 250 gigs of music and other files to go through and im guessing half of it is duplicate or triplicates
