Intel is still more stable

Those buyer are probably kids who play PC games all day and bug their parents...

Even though Intel lacks gaming power, it is very stable, and much safer to overclock. Intel can run productivity software faster and more reliable. However, I do not recommend Intel dual-core CPUs because their dual-core technology was based on P4, and thus quite primitive compared to Athlon 64 X2.
