I see you have almost everything in that one. If you are playing video games, see if the video can be upgraded.

I have the R3000 64bit and it's been very nice.

The zv6000's video is soldered to the motherboard. Its Radeon 200M plus 128MB of dedicated video memory is a little slower than a Radeon X300. For gaming I'd find an AMD Turion notebook with a Radeon X700 but for work and light gaming you don't need anything better than the 200M.

I like my 64-bit zv5000 too Happy. Did you know you can swap in Mobile Athlon 64 CPUs into the zv5000 and R3000 notebooks so it'll run cooler and not run the fan all the time? It's the only notebook I can think of that makes it easy to get to the CPU. There's a big thread about it here:

It's that simple. The 4200 drives are still cheaper and may give the machine some minutes extra on battery power.
