Looking at purchasing an electrical engineering laptop that will run the standard programming and simulation programs. I am trying to decide which processor to go with when configuring on my HP EliteBook 755 G3. I am not able to find much information on the A12-8800 Pro APU, but it is basically the same price as the A10 series. Also, by going with AMD A series over Intel i5, along with Windows 7 or 10 OS, will I still be able to run the same programs the others can or will there be an issue with instructions.
