AMD 64 Heat Issue

Ive been meaning to ask this ? for quite some time.When is comes to the temp of my AMD 64 3000 chip is runs at 25c at idle and 40c at full load playing Far Cry,Doom3,ect...Is this a standard operating temp for these chips?

With many HT P4's at 45 to over 50, why is 40 an issue?

Those temps are a bit on the low side. You don't need to worry until you start nearing 70C, so you've got a good 30C of buffer still.

Nothing to worry about your temps are normail for an AMD64 chip. John
