Aides or some such and their slogan went something like "Want to lose weight? Try Aides". Never heard of them after the disease hit the news.

You had to use it correctly - one piece of candy with hot water (tea or coffee) - couldn't eat the whole box.

I had to laugh at this one, Diana Grin

I've seen variations on this pitfall for "diet" foods. The packaged stuff, in particular "sweets," that are favored as low fat/sugar/carbs/calories/etc., etc. - The trick for most is to only eat the "recommended serving size" (of the, IMO, cardboardy, bland or just plain weird tasting product). The downfall is to likely eat several times as many, therefore consuming more of the "thing" you are trying to reduce.

I thought NutriSystem might be a good thing

Everything all set out and comes right to your door. Then I looked closer at the stuff they were showing on TV.

Wait, is that a pizza? Yes! Yippee! But that mushroom is the size of Kansas!

Is that pudding? Yes! Yippee! But that's not a big strawberry on top, that's a raspberry!

Is that a hamburger? Yes! Yippee! But that pickle is bigger than the whole bun!

Methinks I'd have to order it ''times three'' in order to get an appetizer out of the stuff!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
