As well, I have to think that way too many lawsuits are deliberately filed with the hope they'll be settled by negotiating a smaller sum than would be the cost of going to trial. I think that I've not heard a presidential campaign in recent lifetime that didn't include some component of tort reform in their platform. But, look at the background of so many many of our legislators. What's the ratio of those with law degrees to those with engineering, educational, and other degrees.
