"Alx" & "Cod" files

I have an program on my phone...in order for it to work on my BB 8330...I had to make a folder on my PC that contained an "alx" & a "cod" file in it (which I did)...I was told by the techs to transfer these files over to my phone via Blackberry Desktop Manager's app loader...but when I try to transfer the files..it keeps saying: 'an error has occurred while updating your software'...it ONLY "TRIES" to put the "cod" file on my phone

THEN...they sent me an OTA "JAR" file specifically for Blackberries...(which is supposed to be the whole app in this one folder)....but..when I click on it through my web browser...its just a bunch of numbers, letters & symbols....

Please help...I paid for this phone program & I'm desperate right now cause I cannot get a refund...

Ahh.

Try our Cnet Computer Help forum. They have answered how to do that a few times. Or just have a friend show you how to copy files on your Apple or Windows or Linux PC.
