I thought all this was fixed over the years?
I've been using Itunes for about a year now, building a massive music jukebox that serves as my entertainment center for my apartment, as I play music through a pair of high end computer speakers and occasionally through headphones. I don't have an Ipod, because I can't justify purchasing one until I have a car stereo that as an aux jack for an Ipod (I mostly listen to music either at home or in the car, and not so much on the go).
While I really like Itunes as a software because of its ease of use and pleasing interface, I am considering an alternative that supports FLAC files. I downloaded Media Monkey but it isn't as clean looking as Itunes and seems and seems like it would take a while to transition to. I also tried Media Jukebox but don't like the interface on that either.
Does anyone have a suggestion for another (preferably free) media organizing software. Again, I don't have an Ipod or other portable media player, so syncing isn't important at this point, though it may become an issue in the future. Also, its important that I can easily transfer my playlists to another program, as it's been a long process organizing my media library.
Anyone have any suggestions for me?
