Alternative to Bittorents/ iTunes for Video

by faronking / September 23, 2008 7:33 AM PDT

So i'm having some issues with downloading videos. I refuse to use iTunes (don't have iPod, and mainly i want it on a CD or flash drive).

I'm not in the US so i can't get view any of the networks' free videos.

It's very easy to download from Bittorents, but i'm finding it unethical.

In fact, i WANT to pay for the shows (in order to support them).

I have an apartment and still pay for cable even though i am in the US about a month a year.

Any suggestions?

Right now, i'm in Kuwait.
And believe me, i can get full season DVDs here, clear but pirated, of course, for about the price of a latte.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
