..I remember you having a problem with the scripting engine. Just a WAG but.... There's a brand new one now (5.7 version) which might help the IE7 issue. I've installed in on about 50 machines so far and they're all running fine. It was coded more along the lines of IE7 and Vista, etc. but a version has now released for both XP and W2000. Here's the link:
Hope this helps.
We have a Compaq Presario SR2020NX new Nov. '06, XP Media Edition, keep it pretty clean.
When I updated to IE7 A few months ago, it developed an annoying habit of the mouse pointer alternatingly flashing with the prompt whenever I try to place the cursor in a subject line. It happens in OE, Google ,etc. and only in IE, Firefox is OK. I've removed IE7, same thing, replaced it, same result. I can get it to work by clicking and moving around, usually slightly below the line.
We aired this some time ago, on a different thread, and tried a few suggestions. Does anyone have an idea, short of a major reinstallation of XP ? All tips appreciated-----Harv
