Hello Friends.

This SSD thing, what about it? Is it really 10X times faster than normal laptop hard drive.

Every website have a bigmouth when it comes to boasting their products, I need real experienced reply. please help.

The access time to a random sector on an SSD is much shorter than on a HDD. It depends on a lot of things how much difference it makes for you do and experience.

It's especially faster for a boot or for starting a big program. You'll notice no difference when browsing or mailing or viewing Youtube,

Well very very thanks for such a good reply.I just wanna know that me used to run very huge applications such as maya,photoshop etc. So will it be fast on SSD than HDD?

Starting the program is faster. For using it, once started, you won't notice a difference, I think.

Does SSD enabled laptops costs high than normal laptops?whats are the main features in addition to speed? Can anyone explain please?

The same amount of storage on SSD is more expensive than on HD. So, for a given price, you've got less storage. On the other side: access is faster, it's physically smaller and uses less power. Your choice.
