All-in-one Smackdown, HP L7580 vs. Canon Pixma MP830

I'm looking to buy a new printer, an All-in-One. I've been comparing two similarly priced units, the HP L7580 and the Canon Pixma MP830. My last All-in-One, and HP PSC 2410 recently went kaput. Though I was happy with the way the HP worked, I wish it would have lasted longer than the three-plus years I had it. Any opinions on these two printers or any other make and model I should consider for about $300 would be appreciated. Thanks for the help
