Question

all in one not completing startup,

Mar 27, 2017 10:59AM PDT

we have a 3month old HP all in one and a HP 3630 printer. after trying to print some documents and failing, the trouble shooting screen said it was unable to find the printer drivers??. we reinstalled the drivers off the HP site as instructed, after restarting the computer allows us to put in the password then starts to boot up but only goes for a couple of seconds before going back and starting again, can anybody advise me if its possible to start up in safe mode manually as we cannot access the screen to get into advanced setting.

Answer
unplug the printer

and other USB plugs except for mouse and keyboard and see if the computer will boot up then. If so, then go into the add/remove programs section and remove all the driver files for the printer. You will then need to download and install the correct driver files for your current operating system.

So you can't get into add/remove.

Safe mode fails. This is where you are pretty much stuck with a factory reset.

As you are a PC user you know all about how backups are not optional. Next step? Factory reset the all in one.
