Question

ALL HDMI INPUT NOT WORKING

Mar 31, 2013 9:31PM PDT

Hi all,

It seems there's a problem with all HDMI inputs on my 32LE4500. First HDMI was not working at all, and now all 3 others are giving me a blue screen whatever I try to connect: DVD players, ST box, etc. Sometimes with my DVD player I get sound a few seconds, sometimes not.

Any idea on what the problem might be?

Thanks!

Answer
Try the usual.

Unplug everything from the set. Now, remove the power cord. Come back in a half hour, apply power and just one device.

Good luck.

This sometimes works and I defer to you and google to find the prior discussions why.

Usual not good enough

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your answer. I had seen the similar post indeed, but I was looking for a permanent solution, not a quickfix. I tried it anyway but to no avail.

My TV is now less than 2 years old with no HDMI working, so I'm calling LG for repair under warranty.

Thanks.

If it worked, it's a permament fix.

If it doesn't work it means the set needs repairs. There are long discussions about confused HDMI chips and in your set, this is not the issue.

Too bad it didn't work.
