i have a nokia 8390. i want to buy a Motorola c350 phone. i know both of them are gsm phones but i looked at the description and it said "This phone is usable in 900/1800 mhz." i dont get what that means. can i still switch my sim card to the Motorola c350?

If you are in the US, the Motorola C350 will not work. The US's GSM network is 850/1900, while in other countries it is 900/1800.

Your phone is probably quad-band, then (850/900/1800/1900).

The phone being asked about is dual-band (900/1800) which will NOT work in the US.
