All downloaded pictures replaced with Hyperlinks

by mikengyp / July 26, 2013 11:04 PM PDT

I use Google Chrome and Firefox Browsers on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop running Windows 7 32 bit.

I have many downloaded tutorials which include pictures, photos and screenshots, all of which have been replaced with Internet links. The links all start with the word 'Hyperlink' and the whole link is inside brackets. I've never seen that before. Trying to highlight only the URL results in everything from 1st to last bracket being highlighted and I can't separate the URL out.

The change was made when I was reading Word tutorials as I followed the instructions for photo editing in Photoshop CS6 and tried to download further tutorials. I noticed that in copying the web page to a blank Word document that the illustrations were replaced by the Hyperlinks and on checking found all my saved Word documents have the same problem.

I must've done something wrong but I can't imagine what. Please - is there a fix for this?
