Alfa R36 and AWUS036H set-up problem

by Cjboardman1982 / August 5, 2014 12:35 PM PDT

Hey guys, I recently bought an Alfa R36 and AWUS036H. During set up, I apparently set up a network, but now it's asking for a user name and password. I never set a user name (That I can recall) so I wanted to see if this was a common issue and if there's some kind of default the device assigns as a user name. Either that or if there's a way to delete the create network and start from scratch. Thanks!

I have the AWUS036H too but can't decode what you did. And to head off any misconception, with each device windows would indeed ask for network passwords.

If there was a NETWORK SHARE left over, then again Windows would see this as a new interface and the server would rightfully as for name and password.

Hey, I meant that when I try to access the network I created it is asking for a username and password I don't recall creating. I just tried it with my windows login, no dice.
