Aleksandr Noudelman | Samsung Battery

Feb 10, 2015 8:54PM PST

Hello,

My name is Aleksandr Noudelman and I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 about a year ago. I have a 3 year contract with my cell phone provider. Unfortunately, the battery is so low that I need to recharge every 2-3 hours. Is anyone in the same boat?

Replacing the battery (usually the warranty on a battery is a year or less) probably is cheaper than replacing the phone.

Links aplenty on that.

https://www.google.com/search?q=Samsung+Galaxy+S4&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=Samsung+Galaxy+S4+battery finds the official battery but let's note that the battery appears to be the usual 300 cycle unit. So it may just barely last a year. To get the best results, count on replacing it yearly.

Samsung's own is about 40 bucks at http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EB-B600BUBESTA
