RE:I wonder if the prez will use this as a joke

The late night comics will.

I can hear the jokes now.

The car that took the spot was covered with Trump stickers?

He only did exactly what TheRUMP would have done in the same situation?

The guy that got punched should be grateful?

He got off easy? He could have been shot.

Did Baldwin/mini-Trump leave the guy laying in the street like Trump did with his umbrella going into the airplane?..

Let someone else cleanup his mess?

In 2014, Baldwin was stopped and handcuffed by police in Manhattan after he was spotted bicycling the wrong way down a one-way street and allegedly cursed at officers. He was charged with disorderly conduct in addition to the violation of bicycling rules.

Baldwin was Trump BEFORE Trump became President?

All of that may be true !

I have always thought Baldwin did a great Trump impression from a Dem/Lib point of view.
I really get a good chuckle out of it Mischief . But , if the prez uses this opportunity , I would LMAO

I don't know if I would laugh or cry.....IF he condemns Baldwin he would be condemning actions that HE has advocated.

More hypocrisy?

As far a Baldwin playing Trump on SNL....Life doesn't ALWAYS imitate art, art DOESN'T ALWAYS imitate life.

Do you think he was in his Trump persona when this occurred?

No

I believe that Baldwin was being himself.
Hey man ! I jacked a few jaws in my younger years Devil

Actual gag about Baldwin from a few years ago.

"I'm Alec Baldwin. I'm not an adult, but I play one on TV."
He has a history of physical and verbal bullying.

From the NYT article.

In 2014, he was arrested after he rode his bicycle the wrong way on Fifth Avenue near 16th Street. He was not carrying identification and the officers who took him to a precinct house charged him with disorderly conduct after they said he became belligerent. Mr. Baldwin later went on Twitter to complain about the arrest, saying, “If you don’t have ID in NY when they write you a summons, they can take you in.”
In many many areas of the US it has been local PD policy to arrest Black men without ID. It was considered suspicious behavior. "Walking while Black".
A man in San Diego County put a stop to that some years ago via lawsuit. It's related to stop-and-frisk.
You people are great trivia hounds, while Rome burns.
Baldwin is a very talented actor BTW, but most agree that Darryl Hammond was a better Trump.

Clarification.

Many criminals, black OR white,

don't carry ID because when arrested, they could give a fake name and it would be quite a while before the police could actually identify them and see if outstanding warrants were in place for them. Contrary to TV cop shows, fingerprint or photo identification doesn't happen instantly.
