1. Android phones mean we can replace the texting app. So no issue with that.
2. Text message with pictures requires a data plan. I will not enter into any long drawn out discussion why this is. There are plans for voice and text and the very next thing the owner gripes about is no pictures via SMS text.
I am trying to find out from someone who has used this phone if they are able to send and receive text messages with pictures. I am surprised that the reviews don't mention the quality of the text messaging.
