Question

AlbumWrap WIndows 7 Unhandled exception c0000005

Dec 23, 2014 5:40AM PST

Hello.
purchased version of AlbumWrap previously working
in Windows 7 now gives Unhandled exception c0000005
error code at xyz (depends on if I'm openning .exe or
right click file>open with AlbumWrap). Has been working
great. unfortunately Infamous.com (mfg.) no longer
reachable. Is there a fix for this since it's in the os?

An exception means that something unexpected happened. I assume it used to work in Windows 7 and now suddenly doesn't any more.

- Do you still have the original setup program to install it on another PC? It should work there, like it did with you.
- Then try it in a new Windows account on your own PC. What happens?

I can see why this would happen.

To catch up on what this app was I read http://alba.sourceforge.net/ and came away with dozens of reasons it can fail.

Since MP3s are now encoded in newer ways, this old app may indeed crash on the latest MP3 high (too high?) bitrates and more. As a seasoned MP3 user I won't duplicate the web on that.
