A couple of possibilities come to mind, but they all involve having someone look at the system. Since it's a brand new laptop, it's still under warranty, so take it to any AASP or Apple store. There are three things they should be checking right off the bat. Two of them will likely involve removing the display assembly, so you can see why you want to take it somewhere.
Hi,
I've started having this weird problem, which happened after a recent software update. A few time my wireless connectivity just disappears even though the Airport keeps showing a full connection. Then, the connection in the bar disappears, and when I try the option 'Turn Airport On', nothing happens. Even if I try through Network preferences, nothing happens. I have to reboot to get my connection back.
This is on a MacBook Pro circa May 2010 2.4 Ghz Intel Core Duo, with Mac OS X 10.6.6
What to do?
thanks.
