Airport Extreme Connection Issues

I'm having difficulty connecting to the internet with an Airport Extreme and have been unable to solve this myself. I am able to connect to the internet with my MacBook though the Airport Extreme, however no other computer, nor my iphone is able to connect to the internet. All devices can see the AirPort Extreme and connect to it, but can not connect to the internet. Everything worked well at my old house. Then I moved, and now have these problems.

First question

First question: How are these devices connected to the Airport router? Obviously the iPhone will be wirelessly, but what about the rest? All wired, all wireless, a mix of wired and wireless (and if so, what's the mix)?

Second question: Has anything at all changed about the way computers connect to the router? Did any go from say wired to wireless?
