Air tunes on wired network

My home is wired for an ethernet network. I have connectors in nearly every room and am not really interested in going wireless. However, I would like to send my digital music to my stereo and have been looking at the AirPort express since all of my purchased music is from iTunes. Can I connect the AirPort to my wired network through its ethernet port?
