Question

AIO - With Purpose - Lost - Touch Screen

Feb 19, 2015 6:54AM PST

Hey Folks,

I have a not so simple question: I believe I am looking for an All-In-One PC (AIO).

All I need it to do is function like a tablet. That sounds funny. But I already have a 4790 main pc, and 2500 media pc.

The purpose of the AIO is to sit on one of my 2 pianos (one is digital and the stand is well not sooo strong). The intention is to scan and compile all of my mountains of sheet music into digital format (probably pdf). and use an app or piece of software to display it 2 pages at a time, and allow finger swipping to flip the page left to write. When playing said pieces of music.

I have to admit I am LOST. in the AIO world.

DO I want Android, or do I want Win8.1. My other 2 pc's run Win7 64. It should be able to wifi into my network. I do not need a keyboard or mouse for it. But some storage for the PDF files in the system, might speed it up, instead of reading it via a network wifi drive.

If I took 2 pieces of 8x11 paper and stuck them together then I have 17 x 11 screen usuage. or 21 inch screen.

But the important thing is touch screen.

There's HP, Acer, Gateway, AOC, Dell, and all those, but I'm trying to keep the cost under $500 CAD. I mean its really only a glorified tablet ok maybe a really large one, but still...

Ideas? Thoughts? Recommendations
